What to do if your added to much salt to your food?

This sometimes happens to all of us, “ops I added to much salt to my food”, well don’t despair here is an easy solution (as long as you did not add wayyyy to much salt then there is hope)

Add some potato slices to the pot and let it cook with the food for a while, the potatoes will neutralize some of the salt content in that dish and you can safe it from being to salty for your guest.

Also if you cook Sauerkraut that is to “spicy” add some potato slices to the pot to neutralize and make it smoother.
